New Order's Bernard Sumner Reveals He Contracted COVID-19
Published Nov 12, 2020Adding to the increasingly long list of celebrities who have been hit with COVID-19 is now New Order frontman Bernard Sumner.
"My voice is a little bit gruff, but I was one of the lucky ones, I didn't get it too bad," Sumner said, adding that he still is experiencing a loss of smell and feels "really fatigued."
He went on to say the virus came and then went before then returning, explaining, "It was more severe, but not too bad." Sumner added, "It seems like Russian roulette. Like, you can get light symptoms, like me, or it can kill you. It's crazy."
Sumner continued: "I'm very lucky."

Earlier this year, New Order released their new song "Be a Rebel." The band are also set to tour with Pet Shop Boys when it is safe to do so.
