Demonstrations against police brutality and systemic racism continued around the world this weekend, and Kendrick Lamar was spotted marching alongside protestors in his native Compton, CA.

Donning a black protective mask, Lamar was spotted in photos marching alongside NBA stars DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook, and you can find photos of the three below.

"As I said today, this moment is not the ending, but the beginning of a new era — a movement to engage, educate and empower Compton to mobilize, organize and take action, especially when it counts," Compton Mayor Aja Brown wrote of the demonstrations. "Today was glorious. God is with us. It was a special day in Compton's History. I'm honored to be here with you. Compton, this is our time."

Lamar's attendance comes after his label home, Top Dawg Entertainment, shared a statement and list of resources to support the fight for Black lives.

"We are empowered in solidarity with our brothers and sisters within the Black community, and our allies of every creed and color," the label's statement reads in part. "The time is now for immediate change. These injustices must stop."

Earlier this year, Lamar launched pgLang, a "new multi-lingual, at service company." He was also sued alongside the Weeknd over a track on last year's Black Panther soundtrack.
