Published Aug 19, 2019Back in April, we learned the first details of Disney's new streaming service Disney+. Today, the media giant has confirmed that the service will arrive in Canada this November 12.
In Canada, you can expect to pay $8.99 CAD per month (or $89.99 CAD per year) for the service, and you'll be able to use it on all the expected channels — Apple, Google, Microsoft, Sony and Roku will all be hosts to the new streaming platform through their various channels and devices.
The service will become the new dedicated home for everything Disney, Pixar and Marvel as well as the Star Wars franchise, all National Geographic programming and 30 seasons of the Simpsons.
Disney has also announced that American customers will have the option of bundling Disney+ with ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99 USD per month. Whether or not we'll see a similar bundle arrive in Canada is yet to be confirmed.
In addition to Canada, Disney+ will be available to audiences in the U.S., the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.
