Rudy Giuliani Allegedly Attempts to Seduce a 15-Year-Old in the New 'Borat' Movie
He called police on Sacha Baron Cohen for the stunt earlier this year
Published Oct 21, 2020In July, it was revealed that Rudy Giuliani called police on Sacha Baron Cohen following an interview for an unnamed project. Now, we know Giuliani's scene will appear in the forthcoming Borat sequel — and it's a lot more compromising than initially reported.
Early reviews of Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm, set to arrive this week, detail a scene in which Giuliani meets the protagonist's 15-year-old daughter Tutar (played by 24-year-old actor Maria Bakalova) in a hotel room, where she is posing as a journalist.
Vanity Fair details his extremely questionable behaviour in the scene as follows:
She meets the former mayor of New York and current adviser to the president in a hotel room, where he holds her hands, compliments her appearance, and follows her to the bedroom. She spends some time elaborately taking off their microphones; briefly, he lies down on the bed. His hand is in his pants. Watching it, your brain turns into an exclamation point. They are strategically interrupted before more transpires, but you cannot help wondering exactly what Giuliani may have done next.
The film then sees Borat, dressed in a red bra and panties, arrive at the room and yell, "She's 15! She's too old for you. Please, take me instead!"
After Giuliani's exit, Borat and Tutar are then seen running through the streets of New York. As seen above, stills from the scene have begun circulating online.
UPDATE (10/21, 5 p.m. ET): In response to the growing controversy, Giuliani has spoken to radio station WABC [via The Daily Beast], calling the whole thing a "hit job."
"They'll do anything. They've attacked me over everything possible, investigated every business dealing I've ever had," he said. "And now the idiot Borat is going after me with a totally sensationalized false account of a ridiculous movie I guess that he's done."
He continued: "Now let me tell you why I know this is a hit job that happens because, it's not an accident that it happens that I turn in all this evidence on their prince and darling Joe Biden who's one of the biggest crook in the last thirty years, and since I have the courage to say that I'm the target.
"Everybody in Hollywood hates me, you know, right?" he said. "I'm a devil in Hollywood. Nothing about me comes out in that period of time, nothing sensational about me in the movie. Now all of a sudden there's all this sensational stuff about me in the movie. Don't know if it was added, doctored, manipulated, whatever."
As previously reported, the former New York City mayor and personal attorney to Donald Trump visited Manhattan's Mark Hotel on July 7, under the impression he would be interviewed about the Trump administration's response to COVID-19. Giuliani would call the cops on Cohen after the comedian made his grand entrance.
"This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit," Giuliani told Page Six in July. "It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn't what I would call distractingly attractive."
He continued: "This person comes in yelling and screaming, and I thought this must be a scam or a shakedown, so I reported it to the police. He then ran away. I thought about all the people [Cohen] previously fooled and I felt good about myself because he didn't get me."
Giuliani tweeted in the days after, "Sacha Baron Cohen was last seen running down East 77th Street. If you see him call his family."
Vice President Mike Pence was also the target of a Borat film gag that made headlines in February.
Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm will arrive on Prime Video on Friday (October 23).

Earlier this month, a Holocaust survivor's estate sued the film's creators, while Cohen's character opened a Twitter account.
