Published Sep 10, 2015Some say that time is a flat circle. Zola Jesus apparently believes in at least half of that statement, as she sings of an apparent Groundhog Day-style set of circumstances on her new B-side, "Circles.
The track, which will appear on a forthcoming EP package supporting her Taiga number "Nail," locks into a two-note groove hearty on hard-slapped snares, sorrowful chord work and Jesus' contemplative cries. The Nail EP arrives September 18 via Mute.
