Stone Temple Pilots Cancel North American Tour Due to Injury
Both the Toronto and Vancouver dates have been axed

Stone Temple Pilots have just hit a serious bump in the road, as the band have been forced to cancel their entire winter North American tour.This morning, STP announced singer Jeff Gutt has suffered a severely herniated disc, with doctors advising immediate surgery, along with several weeks of recovery time and physical therapy.
As a result, all the dates on the band's "The Perdida Tour" — in support of their upcoming acoustic album Perdida — have been axed. This includes Canadian concerts in Vancouver on February 5 and Toronto on February 27.
Ticket holders can seek refunds at point of purchase, and you can see all the cancelled dates below.
A press release states, "Gutt is expected to make a full recovery, and the band hopes to reschedule the acoustic tour later this year."

Stone Temple Pilots will deliver Perdida on February 7 through Rhino/Warner. As or press time, they are also expected to still head out on their recently announced tour with Nickelback later this year, as well as on their Australian trek with Live and Bush starting in April.
