Published Sep 21, 2017Father John Misty released his latest album Pure Comedy earlier this year and took the new tunes out on tour with an extravagant stage show, but his next offering will be a little more barebones. The singer is set to record a Live at Third Man Records album in Nashville next week.
Father John Misty will play at Jack White's musical headquarters, performing in the Blue Room at the titular record shop on Tuesday (September 26).
The set will be a solo acoustic performance, and it will be recorded for future release. One lucky fan, however, will walk away with an exclusive 10-inch vinyl record of the taping, pressed on-the-spot. Others in attendance will have the chance to pre-order the forthcoming release right after the recording ends.
If you're going to be in the Nashville area, find out how to score access to the intimate show over here. Otherwise, stay tuned for further details on the record's eventual release once they become available.
