'Tiger King' Docuseries Spurs Multiple Leads in Missing Person Cold Case
After Tiger King's massive rise in popularity over the last weeks, a Florida sheriff has received an onslaught of tips about a cold case detailed in the show. New leads have been coming in at a rate of about six per day since the release of the Netflix docuseries.

In case you're just watching now, be aware that series spoilers lie ahead.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, the local police department has been receiving multiple new leads about the missing person case concerning Carole Baskin's husband, Jack Donald "Don" Lewis since the documentary came out.

"We are already receiving new tips and we hope to close this cold case soon with the help of the public," Chronister told CNN. "Since the documentary came out we've been receiving about six tips a day related to this case. We are looking into each one thoroughly."

Chronister has since assigned a detective supervisor to follow new leads generated by the series. Additionally, he has put out a call for all new leads surrounding the case.

The series's Joe Exotic maintains his stance that the body of Baskin's husband was either submerged in her septic tank or fed to her tigers. Baskin has dismissed all of his claims as ridiculous, maintaining that Lewis fled Costa Rica.
