While he's more commonly recognized for his on-screen work, David Hasselhoff has put together something of a prolific recording career these past few decades. Now, the Baywatch legend has let listeners in on what he has in store for a forthcoming album.

Hasselhoff is at work on the disc — which has yet to receive a title or release date — with producer/ex-L.A. Guns bassist Adam Hamilton.

A video posted from Hamilton's studio finds Hasselhoff belting out vocals for a cover of Echo and the Bunnymen's "Lips Like Sugar." Stepping away from the mic, he also reveals that he's recording a cover of the Jesus and Mary Chain's "Head On," in addition to a rework of his own 1989 tune "Looking for Freedom."

Hasselhoff also hinted at the inclusion of some heavier fare in conversation with Deutsche Presse-Agentur, telling the publication, "I'm doing some heavy metal songs on my new album. Why not? I do not have an album title yet, but it should read, 'Everything is allowed.' I do everything. Because I can. Because I want to."

Hasselhoff went on to say that he's eyeing a June release date for the record, adding, "Don't hassle the Hoff, we're almost done."
